As you should know by now, I’m in Granada, I reunited with a friend I met in Valencia and now we’re spending a few days together in the south.
We decided to take a walk and try to find some Tapas for dinner. We found a little place just at the end of Calle Navas and had a massive selection plate. After this we came back to the hostel and chilled out on the roof terrace with a large group and ended up having a bit of singsong. We sang stuff by Johnny Cash, Metallica, and my buddy even made up his own songs about Power Rangers.
This morning, we took a walking tour around the city of Granada that showed a few of the sights. The only ones on the English tour were my friend and I, so, like the walking tour I did in Cologne, it was quite an intense tour.
We saw things all over the city including the Estatua de Isabel La Católica, Convento de Santa Catalina de Siena, and also got some great views of the Alhambra.
Unfortunately, there were no tickets available to view the Alhambra and it was recommended to book them months in advance. As I didn’t know I would even come to Granada, that wasn’t really an option.
After the tour, our guide told us about a Flamenco show tonight and luckily, one of the most famous flamenco guitarists is actually performing tonight so we booked into see that!
